Weitenburg Castle

Schloss Weitenburg, first mentioned in 1437, has a rich history. Originally owned by Hans Pfuser von Nordstetten, it witnessed conflicts and ownership changes over the centuries. The main building, Ehingerbau, constructed in 1585, underwent modifications, including neogothic renovations in the 19th century. It became a guesthouse in 1954, offering a restaurant and later a hotel. Today, it serves as a picturesque venue for events and weddings, maintaining its historical charm. Owned by the Rassler family, it continues to be a cherished heritage site.
