Hohenbaden Old Castle

Attractively-situated in the hills of the Black Forest around Baden-Baden, the ruins of these three castles dominate fabulous panoramas. Their original purpose was to protect the valuable lands belonging to the local rulers. Formerly a grand castle build between the 12th and 15th century, Schloss Hohenbaden is now an impressive ruin and a popular destination.
