Description
Located in the heart of the Champagne berrichonne region, in the commune of Argy (Indre, Centre-Val de Loire), the Château d’Argy is a French castle designed in the Louis XII Pre-Renaissance style.
The estate reflects the evolution of a lowland fortification from the Middle Ages into a 19th-century bourgeois residence. It includes the main castle, 17th-century outbuildings, and a 40-hectare park, forming a unified heritage site that was restored starting in 1966 by the Club du Vieux Manoir.
The château has been officially recognized as a historic monument since May 14, 1930.
