Description
The Savigny-lès-Beaune Manor, also known as Nicolay Manor, is a château located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France. Built in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, it was classified as a historical monument in 1968. Acquired in 1834 by Count de Nicolay, it remains in the possession of one of his descendants. Completed in 1705, the manor reflects the Louis XIV style, with influences from Le Nôtre evident in its terraces, grand rounded staircases, sphinxes, lions, French garden, ponds, and sculptures. The manor also features a well-preserved chapel on the right side of the main courtyard.
