Werdenberg Castle

The Werdenberg Castle is the most visited castle in the Rhine Valley of Switzerland, located next to the principality of Liechtenstein. Due to its high number of visitors, there are restaurants, such as Landgasthof Werdenberg, hotels, and ample parking below the castle. Below the castle, there is a small lake which, on calm days, mirrors the castle's imposing tower. The walk to the castle passes through a small village of chalets made with age-old wood, reminiscent of Grindelwald in Interlaken. Upon reaching the castle, you enter a beautiful courtyard with a panoramic view of the Rhine Valley. Inside, there is a historical museum and cafe waiting for you. You can easily spend four or more hours wandering around Werdenberg, and you'll certainly capture beautiful pictures to share with your friends and family!
