Wellenberg castle is an enchanting place. It's the passion of Christoph Schenkel, the owner, to touch our lives with this gem of romanticism. You can't spend the night in this castle without a special dispensation from the owner, but you can enjoy it's medieval charm by participating in the several public events held around and in the castle over the course of a year. From a Medieval market to a tantalizing tasting of culinary delights, even dance events, you can immerse yourself in the medieval vibe of this place. In a few minutes walk, you can enjoy a beautiful cascade of water and a view of a fertile valley from a noble British garden. Do visit their website for announcements of coming events! This castle does not have a restaurant and an overnight stay is reserved for special guest and perhaps those who reserve the castle for a wedding party.
