Weinstein Castle

A wonderful, small castle in the Rhein Valley, the birthplace of the great Rhein river that begins in Switzerland, and traverses Germany. Don't be put off by the name Weinstein. This is a respectable, hospitable place where you feel appreciated by the staff. We were seated in the very quaint and cozy tower room. The castle was decorated for Christmas, English Christmas, by a Ravensburger artist who the owners invite each year to paint the walls for the holidays. The food was very good and the service excellent. My very discerning father-in-law was well pleased.
