Description

Bazoche Castle is a 12th century feudal style construction, built in 1180 by Jean de Bazoche. The history of this castle is linked to the order of Cincinnati, a group founded by Louis XVII and George Washington, in 1783. Charles-Igance de Sigalas, a former inhabitant of the area, took part in the American war of independence in 1780, with the expedition of the Comte de Grasse. Visits can be organized, and it is possible to host lunches and dinners for groups of up to 60 people in the Galerie. It is also possible to rent the entire estate.
