Description
Built by the famous architect François Mansart in 1631 at the request of Jean de Choisy, both the Castle and the village of Balleroy are among the first urban plannings that inspired the edification of other castles, including Versailles. The Castle houses the Museum of balloons that was created by American keen balloons enthusiast, Malcom Forbes.
