Yverdon-les-Bains Castle

The Castle of Yverdon-les-Bains was built in the thirteenth century by Pierre de Savoie. Serving its initial function as a fortress during the Savoy era, it later became the residence of the Bernese bailiffs. Nowadays, the castle houses several cultural institutions: the Museum of Yverdon and its region, the Swiss Fashion Museum, the Pestalozzi Centre and the Echandole Theatre. It also offers rooms to rent.
